With the Winter season comes the cold, and shorter days. You wake up, it's dark and when you're done work, it's dark. What better way to brighten your day and embrace Winter then by enjoying a "Julfika" or Swedish Christmas Season Fika (coffeebreak with something sweet)!
Saffron bun or "Saffransknut"
Lussekatter
Ginger snaps or Pepparkakor
Risgröt or Sweet Rice pudding, which is served warm with sprinkle of cinnamon.
Fudge and licorice are also popular in Sweden, but that's year-round thing ;)
Godis or candy!
...but only on Saturdays ;)
Read more about Lördagsgodis on my post.
