The first time we heard about  Simply2Cute4Kids was during the Pandemic when they advertised cloth face masks.

We purchased a couple of kids size masks and some Adult sized ones. We used them a lot and were very grateful to have them. We often put them on over a FFP3 mask.

We have also previously ordered a beanie for my toddler with a construction truck pattern. With beanies, you can choose what type of lining to have. The fleece lining was perfect for winter! The beanie turned out being toddler's favorite hat and was used pretty much daily during the colder months. It was so well made that it survived daily daycare usage and many washes.

Now that the toddler has outgrown that hat, I have ordered another one in a bigger size and a couple of other hats in preparation for the cold (You never know how long winter will last in Sweden...).

Invest in a Kids Wireless Headset

We surprised our oldest with a wireless headset for kids as one of their birthday gifts. At 349sek, this Belkin headset is a perfect travel companion with 30h of usage, a max volume, comes in fun colors and even includes stickers (stickers are a big thing in our house these days)!

Now, when they are watching in the same room, they can hear their show and you can hear yours or each other talking ;)

Parents would like this Bluetooth headset as a first headset for their kids. It's pretty small and lightweight and has a long battery life.

It also fits around a small kid's head and it's east to adjust the size.

One downside is, the price is a bit high for a kids headset. 

The new headset was great on the plane and others weren't even disturbed by the shows and music coming from the tablet. It has definitely been a great investment for us!

Kid-Friendly Buffet Pong Henriksdal

With a variety of dishes, and a great price for the kids (price depends on their age),  Asian Buffet restaurant, Pong, is a delicious family-friendly restaurant with locations around Stockholm. 

Pong Henriksdal is close to Anders Franzens Park, and is a great lunch option after outdoor play. Check out my blog on Anders Franzens Park.  

Weekday and weekend prices and items vary but they always have great Kids food options like miso soup, rice, avocado sushi and fried chicken.

The service has been great and they are used to kids and families. Depending on how busy it is, they usually regularly refill the dishes.

In the summertime, there is even outdoor seating with great views of the boats and ferries passing in the Hammarby sjö. 

Both the grandparents and toddler have enjoyed lunches at Pong! The meal even includes softserve ice cream and fruit (for those who can eat it) plus coffee or tea.

If you're in Stockholm and looking for a nice family-friendly buffet lunch, Pong is a great choice!

Lilla Miss Bows

I discovered Lilla Miss Bows handmade super cute accessories from a Facebook group a few months ago. Actually, if I remember correctly, it was the Christmas season and I thought accessories would liven up the office zoom Christmas parties!

The turn around time after I ordered was really quick and it came straight to my door. There are many different fabrics to choose from and holiday themed ones too. The woman who makes them, Philippa Davies, is a busy mom herself. But even so, she sends prompt replies to questions about her products and she even helped suggest different shapes/fabric for the custom earrings I ordered.

Different sizes for bows as well and fabrics come in so many cute designs.

Inspired by a friend in England who makes bows and clothes, Philippa started making bows to keep her daughter's hair away from her face. She said there weren't many nice options in shops and most were overpriced. She loved the range of fabrics she was able to purchase, ordered a couple of starter bits and tried some different designs. After getting some good feedback when her daughter started wearing them around town, she decided to create more bows and that's how it all started!

As a busy mom, how does she find time to create bows? Philippa takes care of the kids in the mornings and then works in the afternoons. "I do have a great partner that is very helpful and understands I don't do this to make money but just because I enjoy doing it."When she has a spare hour during the week, or over the weekend, she works on the bows :)

So many beautiful fabrics to choose from!

For the bows, we have ordered bows with crocodile clips and a few with hair ties. My daughter loves them and uses different clips at home and when we are out.

Kid friendly! Mama approved. Perfect to hold back wavy curls.

Aside from bows, Philippa also makes earrings using the same fabric. There are a few different shapes from loops to stars. I like that these earrings feel so light on my ear.

Upgraded our Bugaboo stroller!

It has been a really really unusually cold winter here in Göteborg, Sweden this year. I don't think it's been this cold since we moved here. Göteborg is on the west coast of Sweden so the weather is usually pretty mild with some rainy days, mostly cloudy or sunny but always very windy. We don't own a vehicle so we are out and about with our Bugaboo stroller every single day. The walking and biking paths around town are well planned and often separated from the roads. With chilly winter weather here to stay, I'm so grateful we finally updated our stroller with a new stroller accessory!

Stroller Hand Muffs

I've been wanting a set of stroller hand muffs since I saw our friends have one on their stroller last year. We were out all day at the amusement park, Liseberg (which we all miss since it has been closed due to the Pandemic) and they had their warm looking stroller Hand Muffs. Our hands were freezing and we had to keep putting on and off our own gloves when we pushed the stroller or had to use our phones. 

We finally ordered one this winter and so far it's been great! We found a grey pair of  Nordic Crown brand hand muffs online at Jollyroom and they arrived pretty quickly.

Some days it's been -8C but really humid so feels more like -16C. I still wear some gloves before putting my hands in the stroller hand muffs to keep my hands extra warm. I haven't tried any other brands, but I am just appreciating our stroller upgrade these days!
