Kid-Friendly Buffet Pong Henriksdal

With a variety of dishes, and a great price for the kids (price depends on their age),  Asian Buffet restaurant, Pong, is a delicious family-friendly restaurant with locations around Stockholm. 

Pong Henriksdal is close to Anders Franzens Park, and is a great lunch option after outdoor play. Check out my blog on Anders Franzens Park.  

Weekday and weekend prices and items vary but they always have great Kids food options like miso soup, rice, avocado sushi and fried chicken.

The service has been great and they are used to kids and families. Depending on how busy it is, they usually regularly refill the dishes.

In the summertime, there is even outdoor seating with great views of the boats and ferries passing in the Hammarby sjö. 

Both the grandparents and toddler have enjoyed lunches at Pong! The meal even includes softserve ice cream and fruit (for those who can eat it) plus coffee or tea.

Pong Skrapan in Stockholm

Looking for a family friendly restaurant in Stockholm? We Pong Skrapan in Stockholm during our long weekend! There are a few different Pong locations around the city.

The Pong restaurant we tried is located in the Södermalm area of Stockholm in a mall. Since we were only visiting Stockholm and don't live there, it was the first time we had eaten there. It was also the first time eating indoors since pre-Pandemic. We usually sit outdoors on the patio at restaurants, get takeaway or delivery.

Hungry after walking around the city for hours. An Asian buffet really hit the spot!

We ate at the restaurant for dinner in Sept 2021 and it was 238kr for dinner. There are so many different options, so both kids and parents will be satisfied with what's available. The thing we appreciate about Buffets is that you can take a little of everything and more of what you end up liking. There is also plenty of food kids enjoy like rice, noodles, egg rolls, soup and of course, soft-serve ice cream for dessert!

There was some dim sum items in the steamers including plenty of shrimp items (my favorite!)

And if you are Vegan and wondering if there's anything to eat for you? There's a section with a few Vegan options too, hot and cold items.

Sushi is available in the buffet and the sushi chef is making them fresh to keep up with demand. 

If you want sashimi, it's extra so we didn't try it this time. 

Pong was actually recommended to me as a good place to eat when with family. It's definitely a crowd-pleaser since there's something for everyone. Kids were welcome, and we remembered to bring our own kids utensils and bowls for them. We were also able to park our stroller with one sleeping kid inside the restaurant. 

The restaurant seating area was dimmed and there were plenty of booth tables, so you had your own space and even a place to hang jackets. The staff was really helpful and even gave my child a pen to borrow to practice their 'Big letters'! If you are in Stockholm or visiting, Pong Skrapan is a great place for lunch or dinner, with or without the kids!
