Fredagsmys or "Cozy Fridays" in Sweden usually means a dinner at home, maybe tacos or pizza, and an activity with family or friends like a movie night! After a long week, it really is nice to just relax at home sometimes!
Tacos are an easy quick meal for us. Kids don't always like the flavorful meat so they often have a cheese quesadilla or plain ground meat without the spices.
We have started a tradition of "Friday Family Movie Night" in our home to celebrate the weekend. The toddler doesn't always make it through the whole movie but it has been a nice family activity! The 5 year old loves to be the one choosing the movie :)
Sometimes there's even a special dessert, like ice cream! Especially, if the ice cream truck visited the neighbourhood that day.
