We stumbled upon this pizzeria on our first trip to Rome years ago now and Pizzeria Ai Marmi its still just as popular and delicious!
Established in 1931, Pizzeria Ai Marmi, is located in the neighbourhood of Trastevere. They open for dinner so get there before opening to line-up!
There were many locals eating at this pizza place and quite a few families with kids as well.
Some of our favorites include the Napoletana (anchovies) pizza and Zucchini Flower Sausage pizza.

Kids loved the Mushroom pizza and Marinara pizza (for the dairy-free toddler).
Ai Marmi also has appetizers like Suppli (fried rice balls with a melted cheese and meat filling) and fried Zucchini flowers and Italian desserts available.
Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good. You won't leave hungry!
Seating is available indoors but there is also a covered seating area outdoors as well.
This pizzeria is great for families, it's already noisy so you don't need to worry about kids being loud!
Parent Tips:
* Bring some crayons for kids to draw on the paper placemats with. Most restaurants in Rome use Paper placemats and kids were busy drawing each meal.
* Bring a toy for kids to play with during the lineup, or take them inside to check out the pizza making!
