Swedes love their candy! Gummies, sours, or chocolate, there is always a huge assortment at the grocery store and the candy shops around the city.
Bulk candy is an especially popular snack!
"Pick it, mix it, love it"
It actually says that in English!
It's a tradition to have Candy on the weekend - for 'Saturday Sweets' or Lördagsgodis. Some Swedes follow this tradition as it's quite popular. It's also maybe the only time during the week that the kids get sweets.

Even if it's not a weekend, bulk candy bags are filled and eaten on the go or taken home for Friday movie night!

If you're only craving a few of something, you just pay for what you choose. It's a great alternative to buying a whole candy bar. Bulk candy is available in Canada as well but it just seems to be everywhere in Sweden!
