On a recent trip to Paris, we were surprised by how many bakeries there were in a neighborhood! Just within a few blocks there were 5 different boulangeries to choose from. It was easy to try a different one each day or a few different ones in a day haha. Of course, we had to try our favorite French snacks during our visit!
For breakfast, we would take croissants and baguette back home to have with butter, cheese and sometimes scrambled eggs.
Baguette
Croissant
A nut allergy to a few nuts but not almond, and the little one loved trying macarons at different places!
Macarons
Macarons from Magnolia bakery
We also loved the Macaron flavors at Pain du sucre.
Tarte aux pommes
Madeleines
Galette des Rois
Galette des rois is a French traditional cake made to celebrate Three Kings Day in January. Du Pain et des Idées was one bakery we tried the Galette and it was so delicious!!
If you're visiting Paris, enjoy discovering your favorite French bakeries and cafes! 🇫🇷
Don't forget your snacks!
