Located in Henriksdal, in Stockholm, Sweden, Anders Franzens Park is a magical playground for all ages but especially for kids 2 years old and up!
Like many other playgrounds, there are different areas with swings and slides but what makes this playground so unique are the little wooden houses!
You can board the wooden boat, test out the crane or even check out the interiors of the wooden houses. Some are little workshops, and one is a house with a staircase up to the second floor! There are even little windows so the kids can wave to parents sitting on a bench nearby.
Pretend play is even more popular at this playground! Hide and seek is also quite fun in a playground like this :)
There are several staircases so it's best suited for kids who can do stairs, otherwise a parent should accompany them.
I only started appreciating playgrounds once I became a parent. It's nice to have nearby playground options when you have kids who are full of energy.
Outdoor play is an essential part of their day and playgrounds with something new and exciting help pipe their interest.
Discovering neat playgrounds (and revisiting them) has been one of our weekend activities. It's also great when they is a lunch place to sit or grab takeaway on the way home!
Nearby, Anders Franzens, you can find several restaurants and cafes by the water at Henriksdal.
Enjoy the Outdoor play and remember, don't forget your snacks!
