A welcome sight in any season, located right by the ferry stop, Barnängsbryggan, Kajsas på Kajen on Södermalm serves hot/cold drinks and snacks like hot dogs, toasted sandwiches, pastries and of course ice cream!!
We have come to know and love this place, especially in the Summer. Everyday we would decide if it was a day that needed a treat ;)
Kajsas på Kajen is a very popular little cafe that only offers outdoor seating, either along the seawall or in a little patio to the side of the cafe.
Ask for coffee card if you're a frequent buyer and after 6 drinks, get a free coffee ☕️
I think it's been great that they always seem to be open when we feel like a snack!
The staff are pretty friendly and the ice cream comes in a variety of flavors! There is also a freezer full of ice cream in case you don't want a scoop.
Try an ice coffee on a warm day or a hot chocolate in Autumn and sit and enjoy the views :)
They are open even in the winter so it's a lovely place to sit with a hot chocolate on a chilly day!
It's always nice to support local cafes!
